From NaniKo Garden Design’s studio based in West Norfolk, I design practical, yet inspiring, contemporary outdoor retreats. Whether my clients are looking for areas to entertain or hideaways for quiet contemplation, together we create outdoor spaces that feel peaceful, effortless and an integral part of their homes.
Having firsthand experience of designing a garden around a new build house, I understand the desire to reflect the investment you have just made into your home in your outdoor space. I am also very aware of how daunting a garden might look in the aftermath of a build. With my fresh perspective and your aspirations, together we will create a garden that becomes a seamless extension of your home.
About Me
Even the smallest of outdoor spaces is a luxury and realising the potential of a garden is my ambition for every design project. I am passionate about characterful materials, quality craftmanship and how they are elevated by naturalistic planting.
Making a positive impact on human health has always been at the core of my professional journey. After fifteen years in the pharmaceutical industry, it became clear that embracing the outdoors and spending more time in our gardens can also improve our health and wellbeing. I then decided to combine my creativity and passion for gardening to start a garden design company, NaniKo Garden Design. Transforming outdoor spaces into gardens, where one can breathe, relax, play or entertain, is how I am now striving to better people’s lives.
After completing my RHS qualifications in horticulture and a postgraduate diploma of garden design, I launched my garden design studio, creating residential gardens around Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
I am Garden Designer Member of the Association of Professional Landscapers (APL) and Pre-Registered member of the Society of Garden and Landscape Designers (SGLD).
